SECA was again invited by the Building Professionals Institute to present a full day of stormwater information at the University of Texas at Arlington. Rebecca provided a regulatory update, ncluding coverage of the new Effluent Limitation Guidelines and revisions to the Federal NPDES Construction General Permit. JW presented an afternoon of Green Stormwater Solutions, both course-of-construction, and post-construction.
SECA just wrapped up five daysof stormwater training for the City of Fort Worth. We trained city project managers, conducted both classroom and construction site training for staff inspectors, and provided city outreach to engineers, builders, and developers.
SECA just completed city inspection staff training for Corpus Christi. We'll be going back in November to present an intensive SWPPP class,as well as offering a builder/developer Stormwater 101 outreach.
SECA is once again offering CEU classes for engineers and architects:in Arlington on October 22nd and in Midland on October 29th.
SECA just completed Stormwater Inspector training for Sumeer Homes site superintendents. Sumeer will now be handling their inspections in-house, thereby saving several thousand dollars per year, while still staying in compliance with Clean Water Act requirements
SECA has been recruited by Half Moon Seminars to teach continuing education courses for engineers and architects. We just completed a course in Corpus Christi, TX, and will next be teaching in Oklahoma City.
